| Description: | This was a 100 year old farm house that had hand cut oak logs for sill plate. We lived in it and remodeled it for our personal use. It was a great learning experience. When the house was done we had $92,000 invested and the house was worth $76,900. We lived in it 5 years and rented it for 5 more before selling for $85,000 in 2005. This is the only remodel project where we lost money. |
