Monique Myers came to the United States in 1989 to get married and be together with her husband Mike Myers. She grew up in the Netherlands with parents that were "always remodeling, painting, fixing and building".

When she was 19 years old she went to Switzerland to work as a waitress for the winter season and stayed there for the next 10 years. That is where she studied Interior Architecture and worked for high-end furniture- and design stores and architects. She was also the right-hand of a real estate investor who bought 4 and 5 bedroom apartments in Berne. Monique re-designed them to become 2 bedroom apartments (dividing them in 2) and using various tricks of the trade to make them more appealing to high-end renters.

She has re-designed apartments and houses in Switzerland, the Netherlands, France and the United States. She helped plan the building of her parent's house in France.

Mike has been a Mercedes Benz Technician for 30+ years, has re-built and re-modeled several houses in Altadena, CA and is a real do-it-yourselfer - "If you don't know how, research, study and do it." He loves computers, and knows how to prepare a house to have it set up for wireless computers in every room. He knows enough about plumbing and electricity to do it all himself and find the faults in a system. He loves to fix and rebuild.

Mike & Monique are currently studying up on all the new and upcoming stuff like solar panels, tank less water heaters and more. Monique is here to help with space planning problems and ideas on re-shaping the house from the inside-out. They will post all their new-found tips and ideas here on the site and they encourage you -- the Real Estate Investor, the home owner, and the do-it-yourselfer to become a member of our community.

They home-school their daughter of 15 and son of 12 and are training them up to be entrepreneurs and Godly ambassadors of Christ. They help avidly with the home business.
