Kelly Caraway

Alaska - what a great place to live. Most everything we do, we do as a family, myself, my husband and our 2 kids, a girl aged 12 and a boy aged 10. Our main businesses: commercial fishing, martial arts instructors and rehabbing houses. Fun activities include ocean kayaking, cross country skiing, bicycling, reading, hiking. Plus, we are building our own home and budding internet entrepreneurs.

Life is education. As parents, leading by example, we can show our children that learning is vast, learning is forever and learning is exciting! God has endowed each of us with more potential than we will ever explore. Believe in yourself - God does!

We currently live in our unfinished home. What's that saying about the plumber's own plumbing?... We actually decided to rehab other homes in order to gain chunks of money with which to get out of debt and build and finish our own home. Part 1, getting out of debt, has been accomplished, so now we are proceeding to part 2, finishing our own home.

To date we have rehabbed and resold 3 houses and have learned a lot. I plan to share some of that here on this website, so stay tuned...!
